Christmas Concert and Party

Jazz Band and Choir put on the Christmas Concert on December 8, 2001. Ticket sales raised $800 for the Edmonton Food Bank, showing that the medical students really do care. Katherine Murrin's father managed to record all of the songs onto CD which are available through her for a small fee covering the production costs. Videotapes of the concert are available through the MSA Archivists which includes most of the concert (the 2nd movement of Greg's piano piece was cut off as the tape ran out) and because of how long we thought Jazz Band's performance was, Jazz Band piece announcements were not recorded either. Christmas Party took place on the last day of classes, Dec 14, 01. I didn't attend, so I don't know much about what kind of gifts were given. I however did see a first year receive a porno (or maybe he was just carrying it around), and I think Don got a set of earmuffs that'd get him arrested for indecent exposure. There was at least one another thing I heard about, but I've forgotten already.
