The pub crawl apparently was good, with many people getting licked as usual. The 2nd years who got licked though might have regretted it, as we had anatomy lab the next day - cadaver fun complete with the pungent aroma of formaldehyde. No pictures of this (I mean the pub crawl, not the cadavers) were taken on digital camera as all of the archivists were busy, however I believe that the MSA camera was given to someone to take pictures. Look for those in the Fishbowl.
Next up on the list of many events was the golf competition. Golf wasn't the
competitive aspect of it however, competition came in the form of costumes,
with the 1st and 2nd years having many original and
interesting, or semi-repulsive costumes. Some of
the winners that I remember were the crayola crayon group,
the ninja turtles, the babe magnets (no picture of
this), and there was another that I forget. One of the funnier groups was the
Backstreet Boy parody, who also came with a rather
lewd song that only a few people heard unfortunately, or fortunately if you're
religious. One of my favourites that didn't win was the good
and evil team, who actually had their own good vs evil competition on the
golf course. Good got creamed, and you can take whatever moral lesson you want
from that.
Last but not least on the list of events was Startline - which once again, we
didn't go to. We were actually planning to (unlike the Pub crawl), but when
we went it was around 11:30, so the lineup to get in was incredibly long and
we didn't want to go in. Only things I heard about Startline was that a lot
of people didn't particularly like the live band, and that there was some ripped
guy in a see through mesh shirt wearing leather pants (sheesh, the things I
overhear in class - it was girls discussing this btw). Sorry to the girls about
there being no picture of the guy, but if you want to see half
naked guys, some are on this page.
